The mission of the Aleksandar Tišma Foundation is the affirmation, promotion and study of the work and person of the writer and academician Aleksandar Tišma.

The Foundation’s principal activities:

• Establishing the Aleksandar Tišma memorial room;
• Awarding the Aleksandar Tišma International Literary Prize;
• Organizing scholarly symposia;
• Creating a residential center for writers, translators and scholars who study Aleksandar Tišma’s works;
• Legal and administrative work in granting copyright permissions for Aleksandar Tišma’s works in the name of the copyright holder.
